TheBentonville Children's Choir is a non-profit organization which provides Northwest Arkansas children the opportunity to gain a variety of skills that will help their personal growth and development into well-rounded adults. Musicians will learn the value of creating excellence in their performances as well as the importance of teamwork and discipline. The BCC fosters a family atmosphere and provides a nurturing environment of learning and sharing. Singers in the Bentonville Children's Choir will experience the joy of creating beautiful music and sharing it with others.

RACHEL CORNETT, director of the Camerata  and Cantus Choirs, is currently in her eighth year as the director of the choir program at Spring Hill Middle School. She received her Bachelor's and Master's of Music Education degree from the University of Arkansas where she studied classical voice, sang in many choirs and played flute in the Razorback Marching Band. Aside from teaching at SHMS, Mrs. Cornett has directed at the Arts Center of the Ozarks Children's Choir in Springdale for two years, served on the faculty of the Arend Arts Center Youth Choir Camps, and is a founding director of the Bentonville Children's Choir. Students from her choirs have been selected for National and Regional Honor Choirs of the American Choral Directors Association. Mrs. Cornett is also the Repertoire & Standards Chair for Children's Choir for the Arkansas division of the ACDA and is a National Board Certified Teacher. Rachel and her husband, Jamie, reside in Cave Springs with their baby girl, Audrie.

BCC Financial Director JAMIE CORNETT is a Securities Trader with Arvest Asset Management. He received his B.S.B.A. degree with an emphasis in Finance from the University of Arkansas where he played the alto saxophone in the Razorback Marching Band. Jamie and Rachel were married in May of 2001.
