About the BCC...
Mission Statement
The mission of Bentonville Children's Choir is to nurture and develop children in the joys and discipline of high-quality choral singing, music education and performance; offer a curriculum of varied repertoire including classical, popular, and multicultural music; and to enrich Northwest Arkansas with concerts and community outreach performances which will share with others the unique children's choir sound.
The BCC prides itself on:
⋅ Community Outreach. More than one concert each year will be free and/or geared toward the community and sharing children's voices as a gift with others.
⋅ Creating Excellence. Providing an exceptional choral experience for young musicians and an exceptional sound for Northwest Arkansas audiences. The BCC aspires to be the premiere children's choir of NW Arkansas.
⋅ Having Fun. Kids need to experience the joys of creating music in an environment that fosters camaraderie, teamwork and enjoying their successes while learning from their mistakes.
⋅ Longevity. Exceptional musical experiences, instruction and performances will lead to a lifetime enjoyment of music, and the teamwork and discipline learned through the choral art are tools necessary for success in life.
⋅ Opportunities. Musicians gain a quality music education, perform a varied repertoire of music, and experience the power of music to unite and inspire. Singers will have opportunities to share their song locally and afar (via touring and traveling).
